REX500 IP-PBX: Enterprise-Grade Communication with High Availability
What is the REX500?
The Redstone REX500 IP-PBX provides versatile communication solutions for enterprises with up to 500 employees. It supports voice and video calls, voice message broadcast, fax, call recording, and mobile extensions. The REX500 can connect to operator IMS networks via ONU and provides multiple models with different combinations of FXO and FXS ports. With high availability features including primary-standby, dual-redundant Gigabit-Ethernet ports, and dual AC/DC power supplies, the REX500 delivers carrier-class reliability.
Always Connected with Your Customers
With features such as remote extension, call forking to mobile phones, and call-back, the REX500 ensures that wherever your team members are — in the office, traveling abroad, or working from home — they will never miss important business calls.
High Reliability
The REX500 provides high availability features including 1+1 redundancy of Gigabit-Ethernet ports and AC/DC power supplies (optional). In addition, with high availability featuring primary-standby, active-standby, as well as PSTN failover, users are provided with carrier-class availability with minimized potential downtime. This handles failures of SIP proxy servers, power supply, and network automatically.
Easy Remote Management
Embedded with the Redstone Cloud client, devices located behind enterprise NAT or firewalls can be easily accessed for maintenance and troubleshooting. Real-time monitoring, alarm notification, remote packet capture, and software upgrading can be performed with Redstone or third-party Remote Device Management Systems connecting over TR-069 or SNMP protocol.
Multi-Site Networking, Unified Management
Peer-to-peer communication allows the REX500 to be easily accessed by remote Redstone IP-PBXs, gateways, IP phones, and mobile extensions. All extensions of headquarters and branches can call each other for free, and all trunks can be shared. Unified management of call recordings and call histories is also achieved.
